We are searching for an Entry Level Health & Safety Engineering Professional to join our Life Sciences team in Cary, NC. The engineer will work to address worker safety as early in the cost-influence curve as possible, through design phase influence.

     

    You will work with multi-disciplinary teams of engineers to evaluate and improve upon process designs. You will work in a team environment under the direction of engineers and project managers to solve complex safety solutions in a timely and satisfactory manner. Working alongside safety and engineering professionals you will be privy to the process of integrating HSE early into a project’s cost influence curve - working to ensure HSE better influences our Design, Sales, and Procurements processes to set projects up for success.

    Qualifications -

    * Completion of a degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Chemical or Environmental Engineering or another closely related field of study

    * 0-2 years of previous experience in a H&S role (internship or full-time)

    * Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

    Ideally you will also have:

    * Local to Cary, NC

    * 3.0 GPA or higher
