Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in UNIONDALE, New York. In this role, you will be integral to our team, handling various tasks including accounts payable management, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and accurately process vendor invoices to ensure timely payments

• Manage payment schedules and resolve any discrepancies that arise

• Assist in maintaining the general ledger by preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations for assigned accounts

• Support the accounting team during month-end and year-end closings by preparing reports and documenting financial transactions

• Review and process employee expense reports in compliance with company policies

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to ensure accuracy

• Participate in internal audits to ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations

• Identify opportunities for optimizing workflows and improving accounts payable processes in collaboration with team members

• Work cross-departmentally to address vendor inquiries, provide financial insights, and support broader accounting initiatives. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Billing processes

• Strong skills in Data Entry

• Proven experience in Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Oracle financial software

• Knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software

• Familiarity with SAP financial software
