Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Controller in the manufacturing industry, based in Rialto, California. This role involves overseeing multiple entities and ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards. The selected candidate will be a part of a dynamic team and will be expected to supervise various tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee financial operations across multiple entities within the corporation.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP standards across all financial activities.
• Utilize Dynamics software for financial management and reporting.
• Supervise various tasks within the company, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
• Play a key role in managing the financial aspects of the manufacturing industry.
• Contribute to the annual audit process in collaboration with external entities.
• Assist in the financial management of various company products, from healthcare goods to consumer products.
• Handle financial operations for various company locations across the United States.
• Support the financial aspects of family-owned and operated business operations.
• Manage financial records for a workforce of approximately 700 employees.

Requirements:
+ Prepare monthly financial statements (divisional, company & consolidated).
+ Financials must be prepared timely & accurate to meet company deadlines and guidelines.
+ Responsible for entries and posted information into general ledger, including sub-systems (BNA).
+ Prepare or review account analysis for balance sheet and income statement accounts
+ Prepare for year-end audits
+ Evaluate and make improvements to accounting systems & processes while ensuring all practices
+ comply with Burlingame policies and applicable laws and regulations.
+ Maintain adequate internal controls and segregation of duties.
+ Maintain chart of accounts (Income statement and asset & liability accounts).
+ Prepare and review all financial reports and statements to comply with internal and external reporting requirements
+ Prepare and / or review daily bank reports, cash reports, monitor cash flow and review cash requirement reports; including cash forecasting and budgeting.
+ Perform various accounting department functions as assigned.

Requirements • Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
• In-depth understanding and application of US GAAP
• Demonstrated experience in handling multiple entities
• Proficiency in using Dynamics software for financial operations
• Proven ability in supervising teams and guiding them towards achieving financial objectives
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field is mandatory
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical, strategic planning and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
