The CNC Lathe Machinist Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing daily operations in the CNC lathe department, ensuring high-quality production, and leading a team of machinists to meet company demands. This role requires technical expertise in CNC lathe programming, setup, and operation, along with leadership skills to manage and develop team members effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Supervise, train, and mentor a team of CNC lathe machinists.

+ Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes to produce precision parts according to specifications.

+ Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining high-quality standards.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, adjusting programs and tooling as needed.

+ Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve machining processes and efficiency.

+ Assist in the selection and procurement of tooling and materials for optimal productivity.

Qualifications:

+ Experience in CNC lathe machining

+ Strong mechanical skills/abilities

+ Able to set up and program various CNC equipment

+ Proficiency in G-code programming and blueprint reading.

+ Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

+ Capable of using various inspection equipment (mics, calipers, and Smart Scopes)

+ Experience with various materials.

+ Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

+ Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on team development.

**Pay Details:** $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
