Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

+ Maintaining the quality of a urodynamic study, requiring that all equipment is appropriately set up, regularly calibrated, and with sufficient working knowledge to "troubleshoot' any problems encountered during the study.

+ Collects, documents, and processes the data obtained during the evaluation of the Urodynamic study.

+ _Documents clinical data and patient responses in medical records and reports any abnormal findings._

+ _Provides instruction and technical demonstrations to patients, their families, and other health care professionals._

+ _Accurately rooms patients, obtains & records vital signs, patient history, and reason for seeking care._

+ _Accurately processes and records telephone messages in the patients' medical records according to policy._

_Onsite_ _- this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Highlands Ranch, CO._

_Qualifications:_

_Minimum Qualifications:_

+ _High School Diploma or GED._

+ _4 years of urodynamic experience._

+ **_Substitution:_** _A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis._

_Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire._

_Preferred Qualifications:_

+ _Experience with EPIC, Kronos, and Healthstream._

+ _Bilingual, Spanish preferred._

_Conditions of Employment:_

+ _Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross healthcare provider level CPR certification._

_Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:_

+ _Ability to effectively communicate at all levels, to include physicians, leadership, and staff within the various affiliate organizations (UCH, Children's Colorado, CU Medicine, CU SOM)._

+ _Ability to work within large, complex healthcare systems._

+ _Ability to analyze and interpret data._

+ _Ability to compile complex reports and develop presentations._

+ _Ability to compose letters and memorandums._

+ _Ability to deal calmly and courteously with people._

Urodynamic Tech - Urology, Highlands Ranch - 36592 University Staff

The Urodynamic Tech is responsible for performing urodynamic studies and overseeing patient flow of uroflowmetry, pressure/flow cystometry, urethral pressure profilometry (UPP), vesical sensory thresholds, and post-void residuals, in a standardized technique. Reports are reviewed and interpreted under the supervision of Urologic Physicians and APPs.
