    **Job Title:** Nurse Practitioner – Psychiatry (Outpatient Setting)

    **Location:** Temple, TX

    **Schedule:** Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday (Typically 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; flexible start and end times available)

    Position Overview:

    Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple is seeking a compassionate and dedicated **Nurse Practitioner** to join our **Mental Health Clinic** in an outpatient setting. This is an exciting opportunity to provide psychiatric care in a collaborative and supportive environment. You will manage an average of **10 patients per day** , contributing to the overall well-being of our patients while working alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for patients in an outpatient setting.

    + Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, psychotherapy, and other interventions as appropriate.

    + Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

    + Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure coordinated care.

    + Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.

    + Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    + EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program

    + EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience

    + CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Psych-Mental Hlth Nrs-ANCC (MHN-BC)

    + Nurse Practitioner (NP)

    + Registered Nurse (RN)

    + Basic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire or transfer.
