Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a dedicated, Board-Certified (or Board-Eligible) Family Medicine Physician to join our San Saba clinic. About the Role

As a Family Medicine Physician at our San Saba clinic, you will:

+ Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals of all ages.

+ Manage chronic and acute conditions, preventive care, and health education.

+ Work alongside experienced Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who have been instrumental in delivering care to the community.

+ Serve a diverse patient population, including migrant and farm workers, families, and individuals with limited access to specialists.

+ Coordinate care with regional specialists, with the nearest facilities being 1-2 hours away.

+ Engage in community outreach and mentorship opportunities.

This position requires a physician who is passionate about rural medicine and dedicated to becoming an integral part of the community.

About San Saba, TX

Key Responsibilities

+ Provide full-spectrum family medicine services, from pediatrics to geriatrics.

+ Supervise and collaborate with experienced NPs who manage a significant portion of patient care.

+ Navigate rural healthcare challenges, including specialist access and transportation limitations.

+ Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community health programs.

Qualifications

+ Doctorate in Medicine (MD or DO)

+ Licensed to practice in Texas by the Texas Medical Board

+ Board-certified or actively pursuing certification in Family Medicine (ABMS or BOS)

+ Spanish-speaking skills preferred but not required

+ Strong commitment to rural medicine and community engagement
