Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a BC or BE Neurosurgeon to join the Department of Neurosurgery and Neuroscience Institute in Temple, Texas. General neurosurgery and sub-specialization in either cerebrovascular or spine skills are desirable.
Position Highlights:
+ Join a highly regarded neurosurgery program in Texas with a strong reputation for clinical care, research and education.
+ Serve as a mentor for residents, fellows and medical students in the Department of Neurosurgery and Neuroscience Institute.
+ The department has active clinical and translational research programs as well as numerous on-going clinical trials.
+ We offer a competitive salary with a generous benefit package that begins with five (5) weeks of vacation, an additional three (3) weeks CME, and immediate access to health insurance.
Department of Neurosurgery at Baylor Scott & White Health (Central) has a fully accredited seven-year neurosurgery residency program and is the only academic Neurosurgery Department in Central Texas with ten full-time faculty members in a major teaching hospital, a level-I Trauma Center and Joint Commission Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. The candidate will be eligible for faculty appointment with Baylor College of Medicine with academic rank commensurate with training and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctorate Degree in Medicine
- Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
- Where Applicable - Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
