Job Description

Thermo Fisher Scientific is currently hiring a proficient and driven Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our world-class Engineering team. Typical work hours are 6a - 6p, on a 2-2-3 schedule.

Responsibilities:

+ Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all equipment and systems

+ Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic system issues

+ Perform inspections to ensure adherence to prescribed guidelines

+ Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs

+ Collaborate with diverse teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

Requirements:

+ Associate Degree with four (4) years of related experience or High School Diploma with six (6) years of related experience.

+ Experience in Sterile Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology or Medical Device Industry preferred.

+ Proven experience with Sterile IMA Production Systems, HVAC/HEPA Systems, Clean Utility Systems, Black Utility Systems, Electrical Distribution Systems (AC and DC, 24v to 480v), Motors, VF Drives and Servo Controlled System preferred.

+ Ability to analyze problematic equipment and electromechanical component failures without schematics. Proficiency in the use of highly technical diagnostic and test equipment, reading blueprints, schematics, manuals and technician papers.

+ Strong oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, task prioritization and interpersonal proficiency.

+ Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment

+ Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems

+ Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
