**POSITION OVERVIEW** The Impact Strategy team works with social enterprises, corporations, foundations, and impact investing firms to measure, manage, and communicate their social and/or environmental impact. The Impact Measurement Manager will manage the execution of impact measurement and management ( IMM ) workstreams and projects at the Institute such as the development of IMM frameworks, impact theses, impact assessment tools, and annual impact reports. The Manager will interface directly with clients to ensure project milestones and deliverables are aligned with expectations and goals of projects. The Manager will be responsible for managing project teams consisting of associates and student interns and for mentoring other junior staff in their professional development. They will also be responsible for content generation, data analysis support, and research support. The Manager will be responsible for keeping projects running on time and within scope and ensuring the highest quality of project deliverables. You should have a strong interest in the role the private sector plays in creating positive social/environmental impact and demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills. This role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related area of assignment or equivalency. Strong project management skills with four years of progressively more responsible management experience. Background knowledge in impact measurement and management, impact investing, impact evaluation, or social or environmental impact analysis in order to analyze, plan and draw conclusions for recommendations to superiors. Strong writing, presentation, and quantitative skills are required.
Responsibilities
Project Management
• Support project implementation by keeping projects running on time and within scope
• Support multiple projects with the ability to prioritize across projects
• Lead project team meetings
• Maintain and organize project folders
• Draft project deliverables
• Prepare project presentations
• Establish mechanisms for rapid feedback and learning within projects
• Provide high quality interactions and clear and consistent communications with clients
Project Support
• Conduct basic data analysis and visualization under the supervision of the Senior Director
• Conduct desk research
• Prepare clear, concise, and insightful written analyses and literature reviews
• Develop impact theses, impact assessment tools, and IMM frameworks.

Minimum Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related area of assignment or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). Four years of progressively more responsible management experience. Background knowledge of assigned department’s area of specialization in order to analyze, plan and draw conclusions for recommendations to superiors. Demonstrated leadership skills in planning and directing employees and processes in order to effectively monitor and develop subordinates and to ensure the smooth operation of department.
Master’s degree in a related area may be preferred.

Preferences
• Master’s degree in business administration or related area.
• 5+ years in a client services and management consulting environment.
• Prior IMM experience at an impact investing organization or consulting firm
• Background knowledge in impact measurement and management, impact investing, impact evaluation, or social or environmental impact analysis in order to analyze, plan and draw conclusions for recommendations to superiors.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid working context.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, Asana, Microsoft Office, or other productivity, design, and data tools.
• Salt Lake City, Utah preferred.
