Are you ready to take your cybersecurity expertise to the next level? Leidos is seeking a seasoned **Cyber Systems and IT Security Administrator** to join our dynamic team at the **Washington Planning Center** , located at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. This role supports the **Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC) program** and offers the opportunity to make a real impact in a mission-critical environment.

We’re on the hunt for a professional with a **strong information assurance background** and expertise in **Intrusion Protection Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, and Scanning Systems** . If you have a solid understanding of the accreditation process and can apply policies to existing systems based on current **Laws, Regulations, Policies, and Guidance** , we want to hear from you!

To thrive in this role, you must be **DoD 8570 compliant** with a current operating system or network system certification, in addition to a security certification.

Your Role at a Glance:

As a Cyber Systems and IT Security Administrator, you’ll leverage your **operating system and cybersecurity expertise** to apply the **NIST Risk Management Framework** . You’ll work closely with a team of Cybersecurity Professionals to ensure system accreditation and maintain the **cybersecurity posture** of the facility.

Key Responsibilities

+ Integrate **security architecture and engineering efforts** into the IT lifecycle.

+ Design and implement security concepts, controls, and mechanisms to create a **reliably secure product** .

+ Perform tasks such as **scanning, applying STIGs** , and developing **POA&Ms** for RMF packages.

+ Continuously improve systems to meet specific requirements for software/hardware components and technical infrastructure.

Basic Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s Degree and **8+ years of experience** (additional experience can substitute for a degree).

+ **Current Top Secret SCI security clearance** .

+ **IAT Level 2** and **Security+ certification** .

Preferred Qualifications

+ **IAT Level 3** certification.

+ **CISSP or CASP+** certification.

+ **CCNA** certification.

+ Familiarity with **LINUX and Windows** .

+ Experience with tools like **ACAS, Xacta, and EMASS** .

Pay Range:

Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
