    Steel Worker/Crane Operator

    **Location:** North Kansas City, Missouri

    **About Us:** LSI Staffing is a premier staffing agency connecting talented individuals with leading companies in the manufacturing, industrial sector. We are currently seeking motivated and skilled Steel Workers/Crane Operators for a reputable client in North Kansas City.

    **Job Summary:** LSI Staffing is seeking experienced Steel Workers with Crane Operation and CNC skills for a 2nd shift position in North Kansas City. This is a submittal-only opportunity for candidates with prior steel metal work experience. Successful candidates will initially train on the 1st shift before transitioning to the 2nd shift.

    Responsibilities:

    + Operate overhead cranes to move and position steel materials safely and efficiently.

    + Utilize forklifts to load, unload, and transport steel products within the facility.

    + Operate CNC machinery for metal processing.

    + Utilize plasma cutters for cutting steel to specific dimensions.

    + Perform "cut to length" operations on steel materials.

    + Assist with various steel metalworking tasks as needed.

    + Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work area.

    Qualifications:

    + Prior experience in steel metal work is strongly desired.

    + Demonstrated experience operating overhead cranes.

    + Proven forklift operating experience.

    + Experience operating CNC machines is highly preferred.

    + Proficient in using plasma cutting equipment.

    + Experience with "cut to length" processes for steel.

    + Ability to read and interpret work orders and blueprints.

    + Strong understanding of safety regulations in a steel working environment.

    + Ability to lift and move heavy materials.

    + Strong work ethic and reliability.

    Shift and Compensation:

    + **Training (approximately 1-2 weeks):** 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at $20.00 per hour.

    + **Regular Shift:** 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM at $20.00 per hour.
