Description:
**Position Title:** Sr. Nurse Performance Improvement Coordinator
**Position type:** Full Time, Exempt, Hybrid
General Summary:
This position exists **t** o support the Performance Improvement / Outcomes Management Program of the Hospital and to assist key customers (both medical staff and hospital) in the development of programs to improve key processes and outcomes. The PI Senior Coordinator:
Participates in the ongoing development and implementation of the Performance Improvement/Outcomes Management Program for the Hospital; Assists key customers in the development of programs that identify, prioritize, develop, analyze, measure and improve key processes and outcomes. Manages systems to collect and analyze outcome data. Manages systems for reporting internally and to external databases Facilitates and supports the development of clinical guidelines / pathways /processes. Facilitates and supports hospital-wide multi-disciplinary teams; supports hospital-wide quality committees. Coordinates Medical and Dental Staff QI activities; maintains effective peer review system. Provides formal education programs on use of performance improvement tools and methods; serves as an internal PI consultant. Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required:
Registered Nurse with current Maryland license, Master’s Degree in nursing, healthcare administration, information systems, business, bio-statistics or a related field. A thorough knowledge of healthcare systems with at least five (5) years of Hospital experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered and may be accepted. Prior experience in performance improvement and/or outcomes management preferred Strong analytical, written and verbal skills, including the ability to provide educational programs to professional and management staff and physicians. Strong interpersonal skills; prior experience with team facilitation required. Solid knowledge of statistics; ability to analyze and interpret data using statistical tools and analysis. Prior experience with Minitab, SPSS or SAS preferred. Demonstrated ability in computer usage and software applications. Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend the English language
**Pay Range:** $39.04-$58.86
+ Pay is based on experience, skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
