    Stipend Opportunity - Strive ESY Workshop Supply Coordinator

    Position Overview:

    Strive ESY is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to support the planning and implementation of our Extended School Year (ESY) workshops by managing the ordering and tracking of all necessary supplies. This is a temporary, hourly stipend position capped at 10 total hours .

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Coordinate with ESY Site Coordinator of Strive to gather supply needs.

    + Provide projected supply list and anticipated costs to Directors of Finance and ESY for approval within one week of hire.

    + Order approved materials by communicating with vendors, securing quotes and processing purchase order requisitions.

    + Track orders and ensure timely delivery to designated locations.

    + Maintain accurate records of purchases and receipts. Process payments to vendors with BPS Accounts Payable.

    + Communicate regularly with the Director of Finance and the Director of ESY about supply status and any issues.

    Qualifications:

    + Strong organizational and communication skills.

    + Ability to manage and meet deadlines.

    + Experience with ordering supplies for Boston Public Schools.

    + Familiarity with ESY Strive programming is a plus.

    Compensation:

    This is a stipend position paid hourly at the rate of $56.81, not to exceed 10 hours in total. All work must be completed outside of the regular work day. Any hours over 10 must be pre-approved by the Directors of ESY and Finance.
