Our client, a leader in innovative technology, is seeking a Prototype Technician to join their team. As a Prototype Technician, you will be part of the Acoustics team supporting the Prototyping group. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent manual dexterity, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Prototype Technician

**Location:** Onsite; 2400-2450 Central Avenue, Boulder, CO 80301, US

What's the Job?

+ Collaborate with Prototyping and Acoustic Engineers to fabricate and assemble parts into test fixtures and acoustic prototypes.

+ Maintain a clean and organized lab environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.

+ Operate and maintain 3D printers and other fabrication equipment to support the team's rapid prototyping needs.

+ Document operating procedures and assembly instructions to ensure consistency and quality in the prototyping process.

+ Work closely with other lab owners and users to share resources and knowledge, fostering a collaborative environment.

What's Needed?

+ Experience running or maintaining an engineering/prototyping lab or production floor.

+ Strong background in equipment setup and operation, particularly with metrology equipment.

+ Manual dexterity conducive to assembly and soldering of small and micro-sized components.

+ Experience with 3D printing and related technologies.

+ Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment where job responsibilities may evolve.
