Position Summary:
The Gaming Revenue Audit Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily and periodic audits of all gaming revenue streams to ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and company policies. This position ensures accurate reporting, identifies irregularities, and provides actionable recommendations to improve revenue assurance and operational integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Supervise and lead the Gaming Revenue Audit team in performing daily, weekly, and monthly revenue audits across all gaming operations (e.g., slots, table games, sportsbook, online gaming).
+ Ensure compliance with internal control policies and all relevant local, state, and federal gaming regulations (e.g., Tribal Gaming Commission, NGC, SEC).
+ Analyze and verify revenue reports and reconcile to system-generated data from gaming management systems.
+ Identify discrepancies, variances, or potential fraud, and report findings to senior management.
+ Prepare and present audit findings and performance reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
+ Collaborate with IT, finance, compliance, and operations to optimize audit processes and implement controls.
+ Assist with internal and external audits and ensure readiness for regulatory reviews.
+ Train and mentor revenue audit staff; develop schedules and review team performance.
+ Continuously evaluate procedures for effectiveness and recommend improvements or automation where applicable.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (CPA or CIA preferred).
+ 5+ years of experience in revenue audit or financial audit, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
+ Experience in the casino/gaming industry is required.
+ Strong understanding of gaming systems (e.g., IGT, Bally, Aristocrat, Konami, etc.) and reporting tools.
+ In-depth knowledge of internal controls, GAAP, and relevant gaming regulations.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and audit/financial software.
+ Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
+ Ability to work in a high-compliance, high-accountability environment.
+ Ability to travel.
