Hannah Savage with Robert Half is working with a client in the service industry seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team. This role will involve the oversight of all accounting functions, weekly payroll processing, and some office management as well. Seeking candidates with strong previous bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks experience. This organization is family-feel, team oriented, and this role is pivotal to the success of the organization!
Responsibilities:
• Overseeing all accounting functions, which includes cash flow, deposits, invoicing, budget, AP, AR, petty cash, journal entries, bank and credit reconciliations, and end of month and year financials and tax reports.
• Processing weekly payroll in its entirety.
• Ensuring prompt payments against Accounts Payable and Notes Payable to maintain a good credit standing.
• Processing month-end Account Receivable customer statements.
• Reconciling all Balance Sheet accounts at month end and updating General Ledger adjustments.
• Managing and maintaining office staff to ensure prompt, courteous customer service and timely, accurate reporting.
• Handling employee relations and benefit reporting, which includes onboarding of permanent staff, 401k, health insurance, flexible spending accounts, disability and life insurance.
• Maintaining all insurance data, including policies, certificates of insurance, vehicle insurance, worker’s compensation claims, OSHA300 log, etc.
• Utilizing skills in Bookkeeping, Full Charge Bookkeeper, Bank Account Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, Cash Reconciliations, Onboarding, HR (Human Resources), Benefits Payroll, Full Cycle Payroll.

Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role as a Full Charge Bookkeeper/Office Manager.
• Demonstrated proficiency in bookkeeping is essential.
• Experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper is required.
• Ability to perform bank account reconciliation and bank reconciliations.
• Skills in cash reconciliations are necessary.
• Proficient in handling benefits payroll.
• Experience with full cycle payroll is essential.
