Description

We are in search of a Loan Closer to join our team in the Twin Cities. In this role, you will be involved in reviewing loan authorizations, preparing closing packages, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure transactions are completed. Preferred candidates will have excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role is in office at least 3 days/week and attendance for all in person closings in expected.

Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly review loan authorizations

• Collect and verify completeness of loan and legal documents required for closings

• Prepare and compile closing packages

• Schedule and coordinate closings

• Address final questions and obtain necessary document signatures

• Ensure each transaction adheres to established procedures

• Collaborate with Loan Officers on any changes to approved loan structures

• Compile and send closing documentation to all parties

• Provide cross-training, guidance, and support to other team members as needed

• Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of lending guidelines and regulations

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Paralegal/Closer

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proven experience in contract drafting, review, and interpretation

• Familiarity with commercial loans or commercial transactions involving real estate or equipment

• Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and service

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Bachelor’s Degree or Certificate Paralegal Studies or related field is preferred
