Finance Manager – FP& A Focus

Anna Parson at Robert Half is excited to work with a leader in the manufacturing/distribution or retail sector, as they search for an articulate, sharp, systems savvy Finance Manager with strong expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A). This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-driven Finance Manager or Sr. Financial Analyst ready to take on a Finance Manager level role to play a hands-on role in driving financial strategy and business performance within a growing and fast-paced organization.
As the Finance Manager, you will focus on FP& A duties to deliver predictive insights and contribute to the organization’s strategic vision. You’ll serve as a key partner to leadership teams, analyzing financial data, managing budgets, and optimizing processes critical to the company’s operational success.
Finance Manager Key Responsibilities:
+ Drive FP& A functions, including forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and strategic long-term planning.
+ Collaborate with manufacturing/distribution or retail leadership teams, translating data into actionable business strategies.
+ Evaluate financial performance using metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to identify opportunities for growth.
+ Develop robust financial modeling to assess scenarios and optimize business outcomes.
+ Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, highlighting trends and providing recommendations to leadership.
+ Ensure adherence to accounting standards and compliance in financial operations.
+ Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline processes or improve cost efficiency, particularly within inventory, supply chain, or product distribution.

Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline (MBA or CPA preferred).
+ 5+ years of FP& A or finance management experience, preferably in manufacturing/distribution or retail.
+ Advanced financial modeling and analysis skills; strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday).
+ A strategic mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across multiple departments.
+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
