• Accounting Manager/Supervisor

    Description

    We are offering an exciting opportunity in Tinley Park, Illinois, for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be overseeing the entire spectrum of accounting functions, managing the accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring adherence to GAAP Accounting norms. This role is a newly created role for a growing company. The salary being offered is between 95K-110K. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, paid time off, and 401k.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and manage the entire accounting function within the organization.

    • Supervise and manage the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.

    • Ensure regular and timely month-end and year-end close processes.

    • Perform regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.

    • Utilize accounting software systems to streamline and automate accounting processes.

    • Participate in auditing processes to ensure compliance with GAAP Accounting norms.

    • Manage Ad-hoc projects related to accounting and finance.

    • Oversee the billing functions to ensure accuracy and timely invoicing

    Requirements • Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems

    • Comprehensive understanding and execution of Accounting Functions

    • Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

    • Proficiency in conducting Auditing procedures

    • Capable of handling Billing Functions effectively

    • Sound knowledge of GAAP Accounting principles

    • Experience in executing Month End Close processes
