About the role

Our Hillsborough, New Jersey location Manufactures Lysol Products. For more than a century, Lysol has been protecting families from illness-causing germs. We believe there is nothing more important than keeping our loved ones safe and healthy.

The shift available is for:

Weekend Day - Friday, Saturday and Sunday - 7:15 am to 7:30 pm

Weekend Overnight - Friday, Saturday and Sunday - 7:30 pm to 7:15 am

Starting pay: $33/hour

Your responsibilities

+ Provides Packaging technical support to all Packaging departments as needed including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, changeover and repair of packaging line equipment.

+ Troubleshoots and programs PLC’s (Programmable Logic Controllers), electro-mechanical sensors and controllers.

+ Maintains, orders, and troubleshoots electrical/electronic parts and equipment for all departments.

+ Develops and improves Preventative Maintenance Programs from vendor manuals.

+ Basic knowledge of typical facility and manufacturing support systems, including steam, hot water, compressed air and refrigeration systems is required.

+ Reads and interprets electrical schematics and be able to work safely with low and high voltage circuits.

The experience we're looking for

+ High School Diploma required

+ Relevant work experience in a team-based manufacturing environment; on high speed packaging equipment preferred.

+ Associates and/or Bachelor’s degree in the mechanical and/or electrical disciplines preferred.

+ Troubleshooting capabilities such as PLC 5, SLC 500, Control Logix (5K, PLC 5000, Studio 5000) is required.

+ Computer Knowledge required.

+ Ability to communicate effectively in English is required

+ Stand and walk frequently throughout shift.

+ Lift up to 50lbs frequently.

+ Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, turning in performance of duties.
