Summary of Role:

GlobalFoundries is seeking an experienced and energetic cost accounting professional to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing and analyzing company product cost and inventory data with a goal of providing actionable insights and recommendations to company leadership.

Essential Responsibilities:

+ Develop and maintain cost accounting system, documentation, and records

+ Setting standard costs of manufactured goods

+ Review costs for inventory

+ Analyze and recommend costs and cost savings

+ Participate in period close activities related to inventory and cost of goods sold

+ Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements

+ Prepare documents and interpret financial information regarding cost improvements for managers, executives, and C-Suite executives

+ Maintain company accounting procedures and processes

+ Present cost estimates and budgets

+ Compile documentation on company production unit cost standards

+ Assist in audits and general ledger preparation

Other Responsibilities:

+ Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business with an emphasis in accounting, or a related field

+ 3-5 years of previous finance, accounting, or data analytics experience

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Strong financial analysis skills

+ Experience setting standard costs of manufactured goods

+ Experience with Oracle EBS suite and SAP

+ Excellent computer skills; experience in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite including Power Bi, and knowledge of Sequential Query Language (SQL)

+ Knowledge of accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Accurate and precise attention to detail

+ Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

Expected Salary Range

$66,800.00 - $120,700.00
