Overview:
We are looking for a Product Manager with 2-8years of successful experience in product definition, conduction and management. This role focuses on product definition and product conduct, ensuring that our products not only meet but exceed market demands and customer expectations. You'll be at the forefront of product innovation, transforming customer insights into competitive, cutting-edge products that make a real impact on people’s lives.
Responsibilities:
Product Definition: Own the full lifecycle of hardware product development, from concept to mass production. Translate customer insights and business requirements into product specs that drive innovation and differentiation.
User & Market Research: Conduct user research (qualitative and quantitative), gather feedback, and identify real-world pain points. Analyze competitor hardware features to guide product positioning and maintain a competitive edge.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including hardare/firmware/software R&D, design, sales, and customer support to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.
Requirements
Skills, Experience and Knowledge:
o Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
o Proven experience in product planning, definition, and management, covering the full product lifecycle from concept to market launch.
o Exhibit an capacity to analyze market trends, customer feedback, and business data, using these insights to drive well - informed product decisions.
o Project Management: Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute complex projects with a high degree of efficiency and attention to detail.
o Documentation & Reporting: Documentation skills and experience in creating detailed product reports and presentations for senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
o Results-Oriented: Proven ability to meet deadlines, manage competing priorities, and keep commitments under pressure.
Preferred, But Not Required:
o Hands-on experience with smart home products, particularly in IP cameras, security systems, video doorbells, or smart locks.
o A strong technical background and ability to provide technical direction throughout product development.
o Deep customer empathy, with the ability to identify and act on the smallest details to drive meaningful product innovation.
o Able to speak some Chinese, as the role may involve communication with teams in China.
Benefits
Salary range: $140,000 - $180,000
