Job Description Summary
The Manufacturing Specialist reports to the Materials Manager. This position will play a key role in ensuring that we meet our production goals while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have experience in lean manufacturing principles. They should also possess excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
Job Description
+ Perform daily operations including scheduling Work Orders, inventory management, and quality records.
+ Implement lean manufacturing techniques to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
+ Coordinate with other departments such as engineering, and purchasing, to ensure smooth workflow.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to production delays or quality concerns.
+ Maintain accurate records of production data, and inventory levels,
+ Provide feedback to upper management regarding progress towards goals and recommend solutions when necessary.
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain , Business Administration, or relevant field preferred, orMinimum five years of experience working in a manufacturing environment related to planning.
+ Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
+ Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
+ Effective communicator with both verbal and written skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
+ Knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle)
