    Overview

    THE ROLE:

    Principal II, Application Analyst – Oracle Fusion Reporting

     

    The Principal II, Application Analyst – Oracle Fusion Reporting, will be responsible for crafting, developing, and maintaining robust reporting solutions within Oracle Cloud applications. This role will require collaboration with multi-functional teams to understand reporting requirements, ensure data accuracy, and deliver informative analytics that supports business decision-making.

    HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:

    + Develop and maintain a comprehensive reporting strategy aligned with business objectives.

    + Craft the architecture of reporting solutions within Oracle Cloud, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

    + Design, develop, and deploy reports and dashboards using Oracle Cloud reporting tools (OTBI, BIP, FR, Smart View, FDI etc.).

    + Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reports and analytics solutions.

    + Build and maintain documentation of reporting processes, standards, and procedures.

    + Work closely with business collaborators to capture and understand reporting requirements.

    + Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure data integrity and availability.

    + Deliver training and support to end-users on Oracle Cloud reporting tools and solutions.

    + Supervise and optimize the performance of reporting solutions.

    + Fix and resolve issues related to report generation and data extraction.

    + Ensure reporting solutions stay in sync with interpersonal data governance and security policies.

    + Implement security measures to protect sensitive data within reports.

    + Stay updated with the latest Oracle Cloud features and industry standard methodologies from reporting perspective.

    + Find opportunities for improving reporting processes and solutions.

    Qualifications

    SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

    + Minimum of 8 years of experience in a reporting or analytics role.

    + At least 6 years of experience with Oracle Cloud reporting tools (e.g., OTBI, BIP, Financial Reporting Studio, etc.).

    + Shown experience in designing and implementing reporting solutions within Oracle Cloud.

    + Solid grasp of Oracle Cloud applications (ERP, SCM, etc.) including Oracle Cloud Reporting Tools (OTBI, BIP and FAW)

    + Proficient in Cloud Modules like GL, AP, AR, FA and SCM; Demonstrable understanding of the dependencies between financials, SCM and HCM

    + Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.

    + Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes.

    + Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.

    + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Ability to work optimally in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.

    + Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Analytics Cloud, FAW, ODI) are a plus.

    Experience:

    + 7+ years proven experience in the Technology/IT industry.

    + 7+ years demonstrated experience with business application/business analysis on an enterprise wide system.

    + Understanding of enterprise and consumer technology concepts including client/server languages and architectures, ERP systems, CRM, SCM, cloud architectures, web and mobile application development, transactional and non-transactional database concepts, etc.

    + 5+ years’ experience with complex, multi-national application implementations

    + 3+ years’ experience working with packaged applications such as Oracle or Microsoft or Salesforce or similar

    + Must have Project Delivery lead experience and ability to lead and mentor junior team members.

    + Familiarity with Microsoft Office Word, Excel & Visio

    Education:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    + 5+ years project management and/or product management experience

    + Experience with Multi-level marketing companies

    + Excellent oral and written communication skills

    + Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

    + Individual and Great Teammate

    + And/or Masters or equivalent experience in any related specialization
