Make a Difference
The Patient Account Representative is responsible for managing all aspects of accounts receivables to ensure maximum/timely reimbursement for services performed. The Patient Account Representative is required to follow established guidelines, take action to recover delinquent accounts with the payers. Place calls to the payers to collect and assist in maintaining Network A/R days. Follow up with payers to check claim status on billed claims will be required.
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
+ Two (2) or more years of experience in revenue cycle healthcare.
+ Medical billing and/or follow up experience preferred.
+ Working knowledge of Revenue Cycle processes.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
+ Previous experience with Epic EMR strongly preferred.
+ This position will allow the flexibility to work remotely after the initial training period with the expectation to work on-site on an as needed basis per the needs of the hiring department.
