    BayCare is currently in search of our newest Team Member who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. We are looking for an individual seeking a career opportunity with one of the largest employers within the Tampa Bay area.

    Position Details:

    + **Location:** Onsite (Pinellas, Pasco, Hillsborough)

    + **Status:** PRN - As Needed

    + **Shift:** 8:00am - 5:00pm

    + **Weekend Work:** No

    + **On Call:** No

    Responsibilities:

    The Licensed Counselor is a member of a collaborative practice model that includes patients, nurses, clinical resource coordinators, physicians, and other practitioners, caregivers, and the community. The Licensed Counselor is knowledgeable about disease, treatment, social and economic implications for individuals and families as it pertains to their age, stage of psychosocial development and discharge needs. The Licensed Counselor is pragmatic in approaching End of Life and ethical issues.

    Certifications and Licensures

    + LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)

    + OR LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor)

    Education

    + Master's in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Community Counselling

    Experience

    + 6-month internship in an acute care setting or 1-year social services in an acute health care setting
