This role primarily focuses on conducting medication passes for our patients, ensuring safe and accurate medication administration, and providing ongoing care in accordance with the facility’s policies and best practices.  Benefits: * Weekly pay with direct deposit * GPS time and attendance technology enhances your access to key scheduling and care information * Variety of assignments, procedures, and treatments Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: * Medication Administration: Perform med passes for assigned patients, ensuring proper documentation and timely administration of prescribed medications. * Patient Monitoring: Monitor for adverse reactions or side effects following medication administration and report any changes in patient conditions to the healthcare team. * Patient Education: Educate patients and families regarding prescribed medications, potential side effects, and any necessary follow-up care. * Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, other nurses, and the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care. * Documentation: Accurately document medications given and any relevant observations in the patient’s medical record. * Safety and Compliance: Follow all protocols and safety standards regarding medication administration, including double-checking patient identifiers, medication doses, and medication times. Requirements: * Current unrestricted Nurse license in the state of NJ * Understands regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations * Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
