    What You-ll Do

     

    We are seeking AWS Glue ETL developer lead with expertise in AWS Glue Cloud Service. Reading source data systems and use AWS Glue for ingestion and transformation of the data in S3 buckets or target databases in AWS. Individual must have keen analytical skills. Looking for a developer with strong experience in ETL, AWS Glue.

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENT

    Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field

    Your future duties and responsibilities:

    - Strong hands-on experience in native AWS Glue ETL engineering, operationalization, automation build-out, integration with other native AWS services like S3, RDS, RedShift & Lambda.

     

    - Design, build and launch new data extraction, transformation and loading processes.

     

    - Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.

     

    - Experienced writing multi-threaded programs requiring concurrency and synchronization primitives.

     

    - Ability to drive tasks to completion and take ownership of projects by working in a fast paced agile development environment.

     

    - Mentor other engineers, defining our challenging technical culture with sharp analytical abilities, and proven design skills.

     

    - Strong written and oral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

    - Deep technical skills in AWS Glue (Crawler, Data Catalog, DataBrew): 3 years (Must)

     

    - ETL & data process automation: 2 years (Must)

     

    - Oracle & Netezza SQL, PL/SQL experience: 2 years (Must)

     

    - Step Functions, Lambda, CloudFormation: 3 years (Preferred)

     

    - Experience with source code control systems and concurrent development workflows: 2 years (Preferred)

     

    - ETL: 8 years (Preferred)

     

    - Amazon EMR: 3 years (Optional)

     

    - Additionally, familiarity with any of the following highly desirable: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Urban Code, GitLab, Jenkins, Python

    Desired qualifications

    - AWS solutions architect and/or AWS developer certification is preferred

    Minimum education qualification

    + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related field.
