    The Board of Education will accept written applications for the following anticipated position:

    Part-Time School Monitors

     

    Transportation Department

    TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES:

    + Maintains order on buses

    + Oversees students on buses before and after school

    + May perform simple clerical duties under close supervision

    + Related work as required

     

    Must be able to get along well with children and command their respect; some knowledge of first aid methods; good powers of observation; tact; courtesy; good judgement; patience; physical condition sufficient to perform the essential functions of the position.

     

    These are 10-month positions, working four (4) hours per day. Salary and benefits are in accordance with theConsolidated Services Unit (CSU) Collective Bargaining Agreement (https://www.salamancany.org/page/collective-bargaining-agreements) . The hourly salary range for these positions is $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, based on experience.
