    Aspire Physical Recovery Center at Aspire Cahaba River, LLC is a state of the art post-acute medical facility specializing in physical, speech and occupational rehabilitation. Our newly constructed facility offers a resort-style medical setting that will serve Hoover, Alabama and surrounding communities. This facility has an array of luxury amenities including full spa services, chef prepared meals, Wi-Fi access, abundant private rooms with high-end amenities, while providing patient-centered rehabilitation and therapy at its highest. Our personalized treatment programs are delivered by a group of dedicated professionals with clinical expertise, genuine compassion, and passion for delivering superior customer service in a luxury setting.

    We are in search of Director of Environmental Services within our skilled nursing facility:

    Housekeeping Director oversees and is responsible for overseeing and cleaning /sanitizing rooms and furnishings in assigned work areas, according to established policies and procedures, and to maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility.

    General responsibilities including but not limited to ensure staff complete:

    Performs and oversees cleaning duties in assigned work areas as instructed, according to cleaning schedule for that area (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.), using approved cleaning agents and equipment, and following proper procedures.

     

    Dusts, damp wipe, spot cleans, washes, sanitizes, polishes (as required) all fixtures, furnishings, and furniture in resident’s room, including TVs, radios, pictures, feeding tables, light fixtures, shelves, chairs, tables, beds and bed frames, night stands bed rails, and any other surfaces in the room and over door facing.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Previous housekeeping supervision experience

    • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English

    • Must have patience, tact, enthusiasm, and positive attitude toward the elderly and disabled

    • Must be capable of performing the ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS and PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL JOB FUNCTIONS
