    **Title:** Optical Network Development Engineer / Contract / Onsite

     

    We are seeking motivated and skilled professionals to join our client’s Optical Network engineering team. Our client is a global company, and one of the largest in the country.

     

    This contract position is fully onsite and located in Seattle, WA.

    Contract Duration: 6 months

    **Description:** As an Optical Network Development Engineer you will be working within the AWS Infrastructure:

    • Should have a minimum of 3-5 years industry experience.

    • Build, Operate and rollout our global DWDM networks

    • Drive scaling current DWDM designs to meet the demand of our client's customers

    • Ensure that the DWDM network adheres to the defined network standards

    • Review and implement changes on the DWDM network

    • Meet operational excellence projects to drive improvements in our DWDM network quality and reliability

    • Troubleshoot complex problems and develop innovative solutions day to day on our network.

    Required Skills & Experience

    + 3 - 5 years as a Network Engineer

    + 3-5 years of Optical Design experience

    + Prep work and troubleshoot to deploy new products

    + Onsite in Seattle, WA on a M - F schedule.
