Our client, an automotive company here in Irving, TX, is a nationwide leader that provides and administers specialized programs for automotive products. This company is a parent company to roughly 4-5 other umbrella companies that specialize in various automotive specialties.

They are growing their testing environment, looking for their first QA Engineer to join the team. Right now, their developers are doing some manual tests, but with this hire it will allow them to start building out a true testing process. This will be a very highly collaborative position.

The client is a .NET and JavaScript shop with Azure on the back end. This position will start off by doing manual test cases (unit, regression, and API), followed by automating those tests that can be. Ideally, they are looking for someone who can do full life cycle testing, and are skilled with JavaScript scripting.

This is a 6-month cont-to-hire role, pay rate will be between $45-55/hr. This will be onsite 5 days a week in their Irving office.

Required Skills & Experience

+ 4-5+ years of software testing experience.

+ Strong understanding of full life cycle testing.

+ Ability to do a mix of manual and automated testing.

+ Prior experience with building out test cases – Unit, Regression, database, and API testing.

+ Knowledge of testing .NET applications.

+ Strong scripting experience with JavaScript and/or C#.

Desired Skills & Experience

+ Bachelors or Masters in an IT related field is a plus.

+ Any Azure experience would be a plus.

+ Strong communication and written skills, as this will be a highly collaborative role.

The Offer
