    We have an outstanding career opportunity for aCAD Drafter to join a leading Company located in theWaukesha, WIsurrounding area.

    Responsibilities :

    + Working from customer drawings, data files, and engineering sketches, prepare drawings for use in the manufacture of castings and assemblies using the CAD system.

    + Use solid modeling to create casting, pattern and die designs, applying shrink allowance per engineering standards , including weight calculations.

    + Prepare machining drawings and process sheets for machining operations, including all manufacturing notes, tolerances, part weights, and other requirements and specifications.

    + Produce and maintain die drawings for the Die Shop.

    + Maintain CAD database, including drawing numbers, revision levels, and conversions to item numbers as required.

    + Operate plotter to produce hard copies of drawings.

    Basic Hiring Criteria :

    + Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office products and experience/knowledge of Unigraphics NX or similar CAD systems, including solid modeling, are essential.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills, including reporting and analyzing results and preparing presentations with attention to detail.

    + Experience preparing manufacturing drawings, preferably in a machining environment.

    + Experience maintaining a database of CAD files.

    + Formal technical education in CAD (preferably Unigraphics).
