    Job Description

    As a valued contributor to our team, you will design, produce, test, or implement software, technology, or processes across multiple projects, programs, or products, as well as create and maintain IT architecture, large scale data stores, and cloud-based systems.

     

    *THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE*

    The SF Technology - Software Engineering - Advisor role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

    * Work with product owners and other development team members to determine new features and user stories needed in new/revised applications or large/complex development projects.

    * Develop and code, analyze data and build models from it as it pertains to the customer need.

    * Create or update documentation in support of development efforts. Documents may include detailed specifications, implementation guides, architecture diagrams or design documents.

    * Participate in code reviews with peers and managers to ensure that each increment adheres to original vision as described in the user story and all standard resource libraries and architecture patterns as appropriate.

    * Respond to trouble/support calls for applications in production in order to make quick repair to keep application in production.

    * Serve as a technical lead for an Agile team and actively participate in all Agile ceremonies. Participate in all team ceremonies including planning, grooming, product demonstration and team retrospectives.

    * Set up and configure a continuous integration environment.

    * Perform unit testing as well as coding in 1-2 languages such as Java.

     

    This is a hybrid (work in office and remotely) position.

    Qualifications

    *THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM*

    *REQUIREMENTS:*

     

    Master’s in Computer Science or Electronics or Electrical Engineering plus 4 years of experience in software application design and development. Experience must include designing customized Cloud-based machine learning applications and working with AWS Services (including Redis, DynamoDB, ECS, Kubernetes, Aurora Postgres, Kinesis, and SQS), Java, S Python, Dynatrace, TensorFlow, Groovy, and MongoDB. Experience must also include application of software qualities such as security, logging, resiliency, tracing, and caching.
