Are you passionate about meeting people where they are—literally? Join Volunteers of America Delaware Valley as an IMPACT Specialist with the Camden Navigational Resource Center. In this hands-on, street-level role, you'll work alongside law enforcement to engage vulnerable individuals, build trust, and deliver immediate care and essential services in the community.

You’ll be part of a high-impact team focused on outreach, crisis support, and resource navigation, all while promoting dignity, self-determination, and long-term stability for individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, and substance use issues.

What You’ll Do:

+ Conduct street outreach and attend community events to engage with at-risk individuals

+ Provide emergency support, referrals, and transportation assistance

+ Perform intake assessments and create individualized service plans

+ Mentor clients and assist with accessing basic needs and ongoing care

+ Maintain real-time documentation and ensure continuous support

+ Facilitate group sessions and collaborate with community resources

What You Need:

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ 2+ years of experience working with homeless or behavioral health populations

+ Compassion, strong communication skills, and the ability to problem-solve on the spot

+ A valid driver's license and ability to meet agency driving standards

Bilingual is a plus!
