    Job Description

    Reporting to the Facility Manager **,** the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting, improving, and performing general, routine and preventive maintenance on various semiconductor processing, test equipment, and all facilities related tasks. Must know how to set up and operate, Handlers (Thermonics, ASECO, SYMTEK 300), and Testers **(** HP 82000, TMT, MEGATEST, NEXTEST). This position will work in a fast-paced collaborative environment that is focused on quality work with internal clients.

     

    The Position is on a day shift-based schedule with the flexibility to either cover day or night shift as needed.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Perform routine preventive maintenance on tools in accordance with equipment manufacturer specifications.

    + Perform electro-mechanical root cause troubleshooting and repairs on semiconductor process equipment.

    + Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment according to operating manuals, schematics, blueprints, etc.

    + Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform equipment checks and characterization.

    + Work closely with process engineers to understand process equipment interactions and limitations relative to operating specifications.

    + As needed, modifies equipment to improve up-time or overall process performance.

    + Support production as needed and setup the equipment for various processes.

    + Work with vendors for technical assistance and support.

    + Maintain spare parts inventory.

    + Perform new equipment installation and assist with start-up and acceptance testing.

    + Generate and maintain standard equipment documentation (e.g. PM’s, checklists, SOP’s, etc.).

    + Understand and follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures and requirements.

    + Ensures a clean and safe maintenance work areas using the 5S manufacturing methodology.

    + Perform facility inspections and report on conditions affecting operations

    + Respond to emergencies and support after hours building needs and activities as required

    + Provide facility operational support on complex maintenance and repair issues as needed

    + Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    AA/AS degree in electrical/mechanical or equivalent training with minimum 10 years’ experience.

     

    Industry experience in a semiconductor or manufacturing environment. Candidates with experience preferred.

     

    Must be a self-starter and take responsibility for assigned work

     

    Knowledge of commercial manufacturing building mechanical system, including domestic water supply and distribution, high and low pressure compressed air, gas distribution, and HVAC systems.

     

    Proficient computer skills to include Windows OS, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, MS Access).

     

    Good written and verbal communication skills.

     

    US citizenship and fluency in English.

    Salary Range:

    $49,300.00-$65,700.000
