    **Job Summary:** A Patient Care Technician (PCT) is a support for nursing staff. Daily responsibilities include: vital signs, providing baths for patients, changing linens, passing meal trays, checking blood sugars, obtaining intake and output totals, assistant patients to restroom, documenting care provided in Electronic Medical Record.

    **Job Role Expectations** : individuals passionate about caring for others though everyday basic physical needs, ability to multitask, ability to take direction, capability to remain calm in stressful situations, the aptitude to create a daily task list while remaining flexible in the task list for unexpected challenges

    **Qualifications** :

    + **Education** - High School Diploma/GED

    + **Experience** - no experience required

    + **License/Certifications** - Must maintain current BLS certifications (provided by Flowers Hospital)
