    The Opportunity:

    CACI is seeking a Configuration Management (CM) Specialist to join the Navy Command, Control, Computing, and Intelligence (C3I) division. As a Configuration Management Specialist, you’ll manage the software and hardware configurations of Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft systems and associated ground support equipment. This position requires you to work on-site in the Austin, TX office three days per week.

    Responsibilities:

    + Develop and implement CM plans and processes

    + Collaborate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to align CM practices with project goals

    + Apply configuration and data management control disciplines to design, development, and support of hardware, software, and other complex systems

    + Establish and manage change control processes

    + Oversee configuration status accounting

    + Plan and conduct configuration audits

    + Provide training and guidance and to developers for configuration / data management

    + Evaluate and recommend tools that support and automate processes

    Qualifications:

    _Required:_

    + Bachelor's degree in technical field (science or engineering discipline)

    + 5+ years’ experience in CM role

    + Proven experience with development, execution, and refinement of CM plans and processes

    + Active DoD SECRET security clearance

    + Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    + Ability to support multiple projects and priorities effectively

    _Desired:_

    + Utilization and management of CM tools to store, track, and management configuration items

    + Familiarity with C4ISR systems

    + Familiarity with the DoD Systems Engineering Process and MIL-HDBK-61 Configuration Management Guidance

    + Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance

    The proposed salary range for this position is:

    $61,600 - 129,300 USD
