Our client, a leader in the Air Conditioning industry, is seeking a Lead Air Conditioning Technician to join their dynamic team! The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the AC industry, with proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair air conditioning systems. This role will also take the lead in overseeing and guiding AC installations to ensure quality, efficiency, and alignment with company standards.
Job Title: Lead Air Conditioning Technician
Pay Rate: $80,080 - $91,520 annually D.O.E.
What’s the Job?
+ Diagnose and troubleshoot AC system issues providing expert solutions
+ Lead and Oversee AC installations, maintenance and repair projects
+ Ensure all installations are performed correctly the first time for optimal efficiency and longevity
+ Perform professional system cleanings and routine maintenance
+ Train and mentor junior technicians, ensuring high standards of workmanship
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with customers providing guidance and recommendations, maintain a clean and organized work environment, treating every home/customer with care and respect
+ Stay up to date with industry best practices, safety standards, and local HVAC codes
+ Must be able to work occasional on Saturdays when required
What’s Needed?
+ Minimum 5+ years of AC experience (lead or senior tech experience preferred
+ EPA Certification - type II or universal required
+ Strong knowledge of split A/C systems, central units and refrigeration principles
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical manuals
+ HVAC trade school certification or equivalent experience
+ Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, strong leadership, communication and customer service skills
+ Valid driver's license and clean driving record
+ Must be reliable, have excellent work history detail oriented and take price in high quality work
