Prince Telecom is hiring entry level Cable Installation Technicians in Pecktonville/Hagerstown, MD to join our team and help connect America!

Compensation: $15/hr + piece rate

Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

+ Resolve, repair and install cable TV, internet, telephone and/or alarm equipment in accordance with guidelines.

+ Ability to set up and configure residential networking equipment such as ONT’s, routers and switches

+ Analyze and record test results within prescribed parameters by performing testing on company issued devices and customer devices.

+ Interface with customers to identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues.

+ Drive a company vehicle between home/office, warehouse, and work sites in a safe and courteous manner.

+ Maintain a clean and stocked vehicle with equipment in order to be prepared to perform required duties.

+ Complete paperwork accurately and report and record all work order status updates

Customer service duties such as :

+ Greet and interact with customers in a professional, courteous manner including when responding to escalations and repeated customer concerns;

+ Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement.

+ Educate the customer regarding product and service usage.

Qualifications…

+ At least 18 years old

+ Have a valid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years driving experience

+ Authorized to work in the United States for this company

+ High school diploma or GED equivalent

+ Experience with with working in tight spaces such as a crawl space or attic of a house

+ Experience in working through inclement weather

+ Experience with the demands of working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment

+ Effective communication skills

+ Able to travel and work extended hours; overtime and weekends as needed

+ Able to lift, climb, and carry ladders with weight of up to 80lbs
