    *Position Summary:** *

     

    Sovah Danville is seeking a full-time Cardiac Sonographer I - 1st shift, under the general guidance of the physicians/providers who perform various diagnostic ultrasonographic procedures. Primarily responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative while operating diagnostic imaging equipment.

     

    *Minimum Education:*

    * High school diploma or equivalent required.

    * Graduate of a Program in Radiologic Technology or Sonographic Technology

    required.

    *Required**Certifications/Licenses:*

     

    AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

     

    AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required within one year of hire.

    * *Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA) required.

    American Radiologic Diagnostic Medical Sonography Registry (ARDMS) is required within one year of hire.

    Cardiac Sonographer I - Certified in either Adult Echocardiographer (AE) or Vascular Technology (VT)

    * *Knowledgeable of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology.*

    * *The job may require 1 to 6 months of on-the-job training to develop expertise and familiarization with equipment.*
