    This role refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.

     

    Fills medication carts on a daily basis.

     

    Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department.

     

    Repackages bulk medications.

    Minimum education

    High school diploma or equivalent required.

    Required Skills

    Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

     

    Licenses

     

    Registered Pharmacy Technician in New Mexico upon hire. Must be registered with New Mexico Board of Pharmacy (NMBP). Certified nationally by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) upon hire. Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).

     

    Must become Sterile IV Compounding certified within sixty (60) days of hire.

     

    Must become chemotherapy certified within ninety (90) days of hire.
