    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    + Able to operate a fork lift truck as assigned

    + Pull, build & load lumber for delivery

    + Remove material from vendor trucks safely

    + Help maintain cleanliness of the lumber yard

    + Maintain proper records for assigned fork lift truck

    + Help customers in the lumber yard with loading and unloading of their vehicle

    + Maintain proper certification for fork lift truck operator

    + Assist with inventory and verify computations against physical count of stock

    + Other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Previous lumber or building supplies experience strongly desired.

    + High school diploma or GED preferred.

    + 1-2 years of experience operating a forklift desired.

    + Fork Lift Truck Operator certification required.

    + Excellent communication skills are required.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    + The position could involve standing, walking, reaching, lifting, bending, crouching, climbing, pushing, pulling and sitting for long periods of time throughout the day.

    + Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

    + Exposed to cold weather in the winter and hot weather in the summer.

    Salary Description

    $17.00 - $20.00 per hour with benefits
