    Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal

     

    Robert Half has partnered with a well-established law firm in Boulder on the search for a 5+ years’ Civil Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join their team on a direct-hire basis. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

     

    + Handle file organization and maintenance

    + Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents - briefs, petitions, pleadings, motions, and depositions.

    + Assist attorneys in the preparation for trial by organizing exhibits, assisting with the preparation of witness examinations, preparing trial notebooks, and ensuring that all necessary documents are copied and in appropriate order.

    + Conduct research to support legal proceedings using various tools and software.

    + Facilitate the meeting of deadlines by keeping multiple agendas and provide timely reminders.

    + Conduct initial client intake and fact-gathering

    + Record and store client information, ensuring client confidentiality.

    + Effectively communicate with witnesses, clients, colleagues and partners.

    + File various legal documents with courts and maintain case calendar.

    Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal

    • Proficiency in Case Management Software

    • Excellent Calendar Management skills

    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

    • Experience in Civil Litigation

    • Familiarity with Court Filings procedures

    • Proficiency in Legal Research

    • Ability to ensure deadlines are met efficiently

    • Experience in Docketing

    • Ability to handle Trial Preparation

    • Proficient in Time Entries management

    • Experience in Client Intake procedures

    • Knowledge of Civil Procedure rules and regulations
