Description We are in the process of recruiting a Data Engineer who will be based in Atlanta, Georgia. The chosen candidate will be a crucial part of our team, focusing on improving and managing our reporting systems, creating and optimizing Power BI dashboards, and collaborating with various teams to standardize best practices and financial reporting templates. This role is in the industry and offers an engaging opportunity for those with a background in SaaS software and financial applications.

Responsibilities:

• Optimize and manage the reporting systems for our portfolio companies.

• Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards utilizing data from various sources.

• Conduct ad hoc analysis to provide insights into the financial performance of portfolio companies.

• Work with different systems to manage and organize financial data.

• Collaborate with CFOs and other key personnel to address financial variances and issues.

• Implement SaaS metrics dashboards to enhance financial and operational reporting.

• Collaborate with internal and external teams on ERP and CRM implementations, with a focus on tools such as NetSuite and Salesforce.

• Develop standardized best practices and financial reporting templates in collaboration with internal and external teams.

• Utilize Apache Kafka, Apache Pig, Apache Spark, and other cloud technologies for data visualization and algorithm implementation.

• Apply analytics skills to work hands-on with large datasets and implement repeatable processes. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in a relevant field

• Proficiency in Apache Kafka, Apache Pig, and Apache Spark is required

• Expertise in Cloud Technologies is mandatory

• Should have a strong background in Data Visualization

• Experience with Algorithm Implementation is essential

• A solid understanding of Analytics is necessary

• Proficient in Apache Hadoop

• Experience in API Development is a must
