We are offering an exciting opportunity in Santa Monica, California for a Corporate Accounting Manager. This role is primarily within the finance industry, where you will oversee the Finance & Accounting department and ensure efficient and accurate financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the quarterly close process and monthly soft close, adjusting and maintaining various accounting standards such as ASC 606, ASC 323, ASC 810, and ASC 842.

• Contribute to the preparation of quarterly unaudited financial statements and partner capital reports, as well as annual audited financial statements and footnotes.

• Respond promptly to audit requests and compile annual tax workpapers.

• Lead and manage a team within the Finance & Accounting department.

• Act as a mentor to the Corporate Accounting team, focusing on creating efficiencies in the close process, and automating and streamlining processes.

• Ensure proper use of various accounting software systems and enterprise resource planning solutions.

• Oversee the processing and management of accounts payable and receivable, as well as auditing and billing functions.

• Manage the preparation of consolidated financial statements and month-end close processes.

• Provide expertise on alternative investments and consolidations.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in a corporate accounting role or similar position.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required.

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is a must.

• Familiarity with ERP Solutions is essential.

• Proficiency in various Accounting Functions is required.

• Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential.

• Experience in Auditing is a must.

• Familiarity with Billing Functions is required.

• Proficiency in Consolidations is necessary.

• Experience with Alternative Investments is a plus.

• Knowledge of Consolidated Financial Statements is required.

• Expertise in Financial Statement Preparation is necessary.

• Experience in Month End Close procedures is a must.
