Software Engineer II for Intelligrated Services, LLC in Mason, OH
Responsibilities:
Develop complex project and standard library PLC (programmable logic controller) code.
Design and set up Ethernet IP network configurations (including screens, reports and HMI - Human Machine Interface).
Maintain and track issues and report progress as requested.
Participate in PLC code reviews and audits, and participate in executing test plans on site, which includes both internal and customer acceptance testing.
Work on developing system architecture, operation descriptions, functional specifications and interfacing documents for equipment.
Monitor project phasing and adhere to project specifications while maintaining as sold scope.
Will assign resources tasks for on-site commissioning as well as maintain the site resource plans.
Assist with training the client to facilitate project turnover.
Review the client Scope of Work/Request for Proposal/ Request for Quote and communicate and resolve all internal and customer reported issues.
Required to attend weekly team meetings, review scheduled tasks, and report project progress on a regular basis.
Required to manage project budgets ($3M average budget) and report monthly.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
40 hours/week

YOU MUST HAVE:
Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, and 1 year of controls engineering experience. Full term of experience must include: Warehouse Logistics, E-Commerce Material Handling Systems, High speed conveying and sortation, Low and High Voltage conveyor experience; Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Programming in Allen Bradley, Siemens PLCs, HMI, SCADA design and implementation in Allen Bradley, Wonderware, Ignition; Ethernet, Profibus, devicenet, ControlNet network protocols, WCS, WES protocols; PANDA applications; Scanning and vision systems, Forecasting and scheduling, Lean methodology for project execution, programming standards; experience in Studio 5000, Siemens Step 7, B&R Automation studio, ZoneFlex configurator, InControl Ware, Navisworks, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Teamcenter, SICK, Cognex, Datalogic, and SST configurator; and Project planning, scheduling and forecasting using CORA. Approximately, 50% domestic/international travel required. Telecommuting permitted up to two times per week.
