**Job Title:** Lockbox Processing Associate

**Location:** Westmont, IL (Onsite)

**Shift:** 3rd Shift, Sunday–Thursday, 8:30 PM – 5:00 AM

**Pay Rate:** $16.80 – $18.00/hour

**Assignment Type:** Temporary (8-month assignment)

Job Overview:

Join a leading financial services organization as a Lockbox Processing Associate. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing transactions for deposit by performing various routine duties in a production environment, following well-defined and established processing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Manually extract payments from envelopes, separating and sorting checks and invoices to prepare deposits according to client specifications.

+ Accurately input payment amounts read from the legal line of checks into a unique software application using a PC.

+ Read and follow specific instructions unique to each account to accurately prepare deposits.

+ Collect and prepare check copies for re-association where applicable.

+ Physically re-associate check copies with invoices and envelopes by matching and stapling them together as per customer requirements.

+ Sort completed batches in the outgoing mail area for return to the client.

+ Maintain department-established quality standards while completing all duties.

+ Perform general housekeeping in and around the work environment.

+ Execute all work in accordance with established processing procedures.

Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Experience with 10-key data entry.

+ Basic computer skills.

+ Strong organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

+ One year of experience in banking operations.

+ Familiarity with 10-key or data entry tasks.

Working Conditions:

+ Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 lbs frequently.

+ Must be able to sit for long periods (up to 4 hours).

+ Work frequently involves repetitive motions.

+ Temperature-controlled office environment.

**Pay Details:** $16.80 to $18.00 per hour
