Responsibilities
Central Arizona Endoscopy is a premier Ambulatory Surgery Center specializing in advanced gastroenterology procedures. Located in the heart of Mesa, AZ, our state-of-the-art facility provides high-quality, cost-effective care in a comfortable, patient-focused environment.
We take pride in delivering exceptional outpatient services, where most procedures allow patients to return home the same day. Our dedicated team of skilled physicians, nurses, and support staff work collaboratively to ensure a smooth, respectful, and personalized experience for every patient.

Business Office Representative
Key Responsibilities:
+ Perform general business office functions, including medical records, credentialing, admissions, billing, collections, insurance verification, accounts payable, and payment posting.
+ Schedule surgical procedures and coordinate with physician offices to ensure accurate and timely patient information.
+ Manage pre-registration and authorization processes for scheduled procedures.
+ Answer and direct phone calls professionally; assist callers and relay messages.
+ Maintain accurate surgical schedules, documentation, and cancellation logs.
+ Complete clerical tasks such as chart prep, photocopying, faxing, mailing, and form distribution.
+ Keep work area clean, organized, and efficient.
+ Verify scheduled cases and document all insurance and patient communications.
+ Contact patients regarding financial responsibilities and discuss payment options.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or equivalent education/experience preferred.
+ Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a healthcare setting, with at least one (1) year specifically in surgery scheduling preferred.
+ Strong ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
+ Basic knowledge of surgery scheduling, front desk operations, and patient registration responsibilities is required.
+ Must demonstrate the ability to manage stressful situations professionally and effectively.
+ Flexibility in scheduling is essential; must be available to work varying shifts as needed.
USD $17.86/Hr. USD $24.48/Yr.
